Mann + Tangerine Dream
An early Mann crime flick with an outstanding Tangerine Dream soundtrack plus a stellar performance by James Caan, what more we would want? A stellar presentation of audio and video and Arrow delivered of course.Â

Proto Heat
I've seen a few Michael Mann movies before, Heat in particular quite a number of times, but Thief slipped under my radar until I found it at Arrow. This played out much like a Proto Heat, with an in-depth look at the main character's life, relationships and how they go about their work. Very stylishly shot with some great actors, James Caan and Tuesday Weld in particular pull off a fairly convincing relationship. The Blu-ray looks excellent, with great detail and grain allowing the movie's cinematography to shine. Some of the city and car yard shots really stand out in my mind. Really glad I gave it a try during a special, would have been happy to pay full price knowing how much I enjoy the film now. Give it a go!
