A movie that wouldn`t be made today like it was
Unlike in the wretched remake, where there is no real social satire, Verhoeven has no fear showing a scathing critique of the corporate powers and excesses in this classic science fiction movie. A film from an almost far gone era even though it was just 1987. ... A first sci-fi for Verhoeven yet proves him being a highly competent director with a flare and able to give us both outstanding satire and action scenes. Not to forget the powerful score by Basil Poledouris of course. The picture in this Blu ray is excellent and the sound is good too. It is an edition worth having, very much so !

Amazing set
Arrows release of Robocop is outstanding. Having owned this movie on every format since VHS, this edition tops every version. Arrows recent 4K releases have all blown me away. And this release is up there with one of the best.
