Max Renn (James Woods) is looking for fresh new content for his TV channel when he happens across some illegal S&M-style broadcasts called "Videodrome". Embroiling his girlfriend Nicki (Deborah Harry) in his search for the source, his journey begins to blur the lines between reality and fantasy as he works his way through sadomasochistic games, shady organisations and body transformations stunningly realised by Oscar®-winning* makeup effects artist Rick Baker.

Beautiful presentation of the film, a definite release.
Unfortunately the film feels a bit weird for weirdness sake. Some bad acting moments.

Great Transfer for a Great film
Never seen Videodrome before until now, and it looked great! Suprisingly colourful and deep looking. What a way to experience a first-time viewing of this weird & wonderful film.

80s Classic
Very good transfer of an 80s James Woods classic Made before political correctness went wild and drove the actors mad. James Woods being one of the few exceptions to survive the current insanity.

So good, it makes James Woods tolerable
Because of this film, I held James Woods in high esteem for FAR longer than I should of. You know it must be good if, despite the presence of such a toxic individual, you revisit is again and again. Cronenberg's most twisted and therefore best movie.
